Privacy Policy

The short version: you can read this entire site without an account, a form or a cookie. We don't sell or share personal information, and we don't run ads or tracking pixels.

Effective September 26, 2026

Who we are

This policy covers americainjurylawyers.com ("the site"), operated by Injury Lawyers of America ("we", "us"). Questions about this policy go to editors@americainjurylawyers.com.

What we collect

  • Emails you send us. If you write to us, we receive your email address, name (if included) and whatever you put in the message. We use it only to reply and to fix errors you report.
  • Basic server logs. Our hosting and security providers automatically record technical data when any page loads: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. This is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse and fix outages, and is kept for a limited period set by those providers.

We do not have user accounts, contact forms, newsletters or comment sections. We do not knowingly collect sensitive information, such as health details about an injury. Please don't send us medical records or details of your case; we can't give legal advice.

Cookies and tracking

The site does not set advertising or analytics cookies and does not use tracking pixels or session recording. If we add analytics in the future, we will update this policy first and ask for your consent where the law requires it.

Do Not Track. Because we don't track visitors across sites, there is nothing for a browser "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal to switch off. We honor both signals if that changes.

Third-party links and data

Ranking pages show map positions, ratings and review counts from Google and link to Google Maps and to law firms' own websites and phone numbers. When you follow those links, the other site's privacy policy applies, including Google's Privacy Policy. We are not paid for those links and do not receive information about what you do on those sites.

How we share information

We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not "share" it for cross-context behavioral advertising as California law defines that term. We disclose information only to service providers that host and secure the site, or when required by law, such as a valid subpoena.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Residents of California (including under the California Consumer Privacy Act and the California Online Privacy Protection Act), Colorado, Virginia and other states with privacy laws can use these rights. Email editors@americainjurylawyers.com and we will respond within 45 days. We will not treat you differently for making a request.

Visitors outside the United States

The site is written for readers in the United States and is hosted in the US. If you live in the European Economic Area or the UK, the GDPR gives you rights to access, correct, delete and object to processing of your personal data, and to complain to your local data protection authority. The only personal data we process is what you email us (legal basis: our legitimate interest in answering you) and routine server logs (legal basis: our legitimate interest in running a secure website).

Children

The site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it.

Security and retention

The site is served over HTTPS. We keep emails only as long as needed to respond and to keep a record of corrections, then delete them.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will post the new version here and update the effective date above. Material changes, such as adding analytics, will be noted at the top of the page.
