Educational information, not legal advice
Injury Lawyers of America is an independent informational website. We are not a law firm, we do not provide legal advice, and we are not a lawyer referral service. Nothing on the site creates an attorney-client relationship, including reading our guides, using our rankings or emailing us. Laws change and differ by state; talk to a licensed attorney in your state about your situation. See our full disclaimer.
About the rankings
- Rankings are calculated by a published formula that blends a firm's position in Google Maps results with its Google rating and review count. The method is described on How We Rank.
- Map positions, ratings and review counts come from Google and are shown as recorded on the date listed. They change over time, Google's results can differ from one searcher to the next, and Google may round large counts. We don't verify or edit individual reviews.
- A ranking reflects public Google data, not our opinion of a lawyer's skill, and is not an endorsement, guarantee or recommendation for any particular case. Firms marked "Bar check pending" have not yet been checked against state bar records.
- No firm pays to be ranked or to change its position. Firms that believe a listing is wrong can ask for a correction at editors@americainjurylawyers.com.
Your choice of lawyer
You are responsible for choosing and hiring any lawyer. Before you sign, check the lawyer's license and discipline history on your state bar's website and read the fee agreement. Our guide to questions to ask before hiring can help.
Third-party sites
The site links to Google Maps, law firm websites and other sources. We don't control those sites and aren't responsible for their content, accuracy or privacy practices.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy or republish the site's rankings or guides in bulk without our written permission;
- scrape or crawl the site with automated tools in a way that burdens it, other than normal search engine indexing;
- try to interfere with the site's security or operation;
- use the site to misrepresent a law firm or impersonate anyone.
Our content
The guides, text, design, logo and rankings methodology are owned by Injury Lawyers of America and protected by copyright and trademark law. You may share links and quote short excerpts with credit and a link back. Law firm names and Google data belong to their respective owners.
No warranties
We work to keep the site accurate and current, but it is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Injury Lawyers of America is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any decision you make or action you take based on the site, including hiring or not hiring a lawyer or missing a legal deadline. Some states don't allow certain limits, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in San Diego County, California.
